YAWNS !saturday (220308) :
this day marks the end of the memories for my 21st birthday celebration.
it was the last day of the place where i held my birthday party.
decided to go back there once again to reminisce.
oh, but before that we had dinner at Shokudo.
the place is Marché kind but the food are all japanese.
and, i had a hard time deciding on what to eat because everything there seemed so delicious.
true enough, the food there is really great !
ate so much until all of us felt so bloated.
walked to safra town club in order to digest our food.
drank, sat, chit chatted, played jingyao's game, cam whored and reminisced was what we did there till it was time to leave.
was quite reluctant to go.
not only because it was where i held my 21st birthday celebration, but its also a very good place to chill out and sing some songs.
nevertheless, i have the memories kept in my heart.
and thats the only place where the fondest memories are being kept at !
=)
and conclusion of the night, pc's sense of direction is really abit off.
i witnessed it myself.
had a good laugh in the car especially with that 'xiao zhu' around.

sunday (230308) :
woke up at 6.45AM !
was being asked to go and work together with hanzy, james and mr.yue.
reporting time was supposedly to be 8.45am at Bukit Gombak but we arrived at 9am.
hanzy and i were being asked to be stationed at the goodie bag counter.
the turned out rate for the event was much lower than expected.
basically, we spent almost 3/4 of our time slacking.
the event was a family day for some NS guys from Kins.
so most, or rather all of them, are from police force. (i suppose)
they are quite friendly people.
seeing hanzy and me being so bored, they came over and chatted with us.
went to play Laser Quest, secretly =X
their version of laser quest is different from what we played during sub com camp.
and theirs is an indoor game.
i had the 'HIGH' score of the day.
actually, i'm quite proud of it but i shan't reveal my score. haha
headed to queensway after work.
intially was just to accompany mr.yue.
but i ended up buying 2 fbt's and a top !
hanzy also bought a top.
i am SO surprised that i managed to buy a decent top from queensway.
will be back blogging probably next week or during the weekend.
accion chalet and D&D up next for me for the week.

intended to go roller blading.
but due to the downpour, we had to cancel it and find some 'wet weather' programme.
thought of going back to Teo Heng again, but the earliest slot they had was at 5pm.
in the end decided to go to T3's TCC.
literally rotted over there for that an hour plus.
dinner-ed at Popeyes.
had a great time laughing there.
even the smallest thing like looking at skytrains could make us, or rather the 2 frogs, laugh like nobody's business.
made our way back to tampines central to catch Rule #1 after dinner.
this movie shouldn't be classified under horror.
it should be classified under SADDIST instead.
the scenes in there are real disgusting.
imagine watching a scene whereby a pregnant woman pulls her foetus out of her body ?!
SICK ISN'T IT ?
of course, there are more such scenes but i shan't be a spoiler.
thursday (200308) :
rotted my day away at home.
sometimes it feels quite good to take a day off just to stay at home.
it had been quite sometime since the last i laid on my sofa to watch tv.
the only thing is that, you've gotta have ample supply of food/tidbits at home.
my house is pathetic.
just a couple of instant noodles and a few packets of biscuits wasn't enough to be my company.
its really time for me to stock up the kitchen.
NTUC, here i come !
alright, shall head to bed now.

我回来了 Part 2 ! (:monday (170308) :
HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY MEL KWOK !
met up with the rest of them in school first before heading to town.
had lunch at crystal jade at taka.
the xiao long bao there is delicious !
after that sumptuous lunch was to wheelock place to change hanzy's present.
was thinking of what to do next.
mel suggested of a cheap ktv place in katong.
so we made our way there.
that ktv place is called Teo Heng Karaoke.
obviously the name can't be compared to kbox.
however, there are really several points which we felt that it is better than kbox.
firstly, the microphones there are WIRELESS !
that was the very first thing i noticed when i entered the room.
i went : 'EH ! the microphones here are wireless ! much better than those wired microphones in kobx !'
the next and most important point is that the place is real cheap !
each of us paid a total of $15 for everything.
don't be mistaken, the $15 included our dinner.
you can order zhu chao from them and they'll deliver it to you.
whereas for kbox, $15 is not even enough to cover just the room and drinks.
i guess that shall be our frqent ktv place in future.
and not to forget, our 2 frogs went crazy while singing !
i am seriously on the verge of going broke soon !
spent alot on presents.
and loads of people still owe me money.
as long as they don't pay up, it means that i have to go budget and live on bread and water everday.
i can only pray and hope that my february pay gets in SOON !
i need money VERY DESPERATELY !

had been REAL busy during the whole week.
from birthdays and to events.
this is going to be a wordy post.

tuesday to wednesday (110308 - 120308) :
hanzy's 21st birthday chalet.
went for his chalet at Aloha Loyang.
before that met up with some others at white sands to buy a birthday card and we also decided to buy a can of whipped cream as an additional 'present' to him from us.
ate and played some weird games before cutting the cake.
wanted to leave the whipped cream part until the end of everything.
but apparently, those involved did not do things discreetly.
in the end he found out about our small little 'present'
so the plan had to be done there and then.
slacked and chit chatted for sometime before he decided to open the actual presents we bought for him.
we bought him a Braun Buffel wallet, a pair of Havaianas slipper and a Crumpler bag.
basically, his presents are all branded stuffs (in a way) from head to toe.
and the only word he kept on mentioning while opening his present was 'WOW' !
after that was fortune telling by our Da Shi and following we played our very own version of 'truth-but-no-dare'.
we had no idea what was there to dare about so we came out with that.
played from dust to dawn.
found out several interesting stuffs (:
thursday to sunday (130308 - 160308) :
set up for RoboGP Funan on thursday.
reached Funan at around 6 plus and prepared all the way until 11pm.
friday to suunday was the actual event of RoboGP Funan.
of course there are hiccups here and there.
but overall everything went on plan.
to the juniors, (if any of you are reading this)
don't brood over on what had happened.
mistakes which had been made during the event, learn from them.
take it as a learning experience and a stepping stone for you.
i believe you all will do better the next time.

after that went to Suntec to buy a birthday card for kwokie.
walked around for sometime before finally found what we wanted.
which is those BIG birthday cards.
we then adjourned to her house for the party after getting it.
upon reaching the lift up to her house, we saw this Macbook box.
and mr.yeo asked us to bring the box up so that we can put the present into the box and kwokie might think that we are giving her a macbook !
we stuffed many others stuffs into the box to make it have more weight to make it more 'real'.
crapped and played 'jingyao's game' while waiting for our stomach to growl.
after the cutting cake session it was drinking and time to open the presents.
to my surprise, kwokie was smart enough to know that we weren't good enough to give her a macbook.
gong xi gong xi !
well, peeps of sme and e2 aren't easy to mess with.
HAHA
no macbook but there was an ipod nano !
still ain't that bad huh ?

last day of RoboGP.
by the time everything was cleard and after filling up our starving stomach, it was almost near to 7pm.
went home to bathe and met sy, jy, guo bin and james at tampines central.
went NTUC for some 'grocery' shopping before heading to kwokie's chalet.
basically, 'grocery' shopping just meant that kwokie won't have a perfect 21st celebration.
her chalet was at Aloha Changi.
i had never been to that chalet before.
all along it gave me a 'spooky' feeling.
and because of a misleading direction given by mr.zhan xiong, we alighted at the wrong bus stop.
we walked some very dark routes.
i was literally grabbing/pinching jingyao while walking.
halfway through then we realised that we should be walking in the other direction instead.
finally we made it to the chalet.
the whole chalet is being infested with mosquitoes !
just sitting on the sofa for less than half an hour i couldn't help but keep scartching myself.
either that or my blood is simply too sweet.
half an hour before the clock struck 12am, we went to mix all the 'ingredients' which we bought from NTUC.
at the stroke of midnight, poor kwokie had a facial and bodywash.
but whats a 21st celebration without a prank ? =X
anyway, the line there gets connected to malaysia's line every now and then because of it being quite near to malaysia.
my service provider had been changed to either MY Maxis or MY Celcom.
wonder how many sms did i sent out while it was under malaysia's line.
alright, guess i shall stop here for the time being.
shall continue with the remaining updates and pictures on the next post.

every meetup just seem to fly past.

march is definately a month to go broke for me.
reason being that i have quite a few friends who are march babies.
a total of 4 friends.
3 of which are turning 21 this year.
and that only means that i have to go budget this whole month.
either that or i should work whenever possible to earn some pocket money to cover my next month's expenses.
looking at the pathetic amount left in my account, i feel so DAMN broke now.
no more online shopping, no more yummy food, no more temptations from everywhere for the rest of this month.
please make my pay for both january and feburary come in FAST !
i'm desperately in need of money.

amazing race 5 ! =)I'M BACK FROM AMAZING RACE !
only have one word to describe it.
SUPERB !
the feeling is just so great.
although it was quite tiring having to run with your bags on, but the people around you made it an enjoyable one.
my team made it FIRST ! (:
but no matter what position did we come in, what mattered most was the memories left for us and how we went through the whole race together.
which eventually brought us closer.
our 2 MO's also did a great job.
poor Ming Feng's knee hurt on the 3rd day.
hope it wasn't our cause of it.
most importantly, hope you're feeling better now dude (:
therefore we had another MO, Ben, on the 4th day.
but one thing i felt very sad for them was that they had to run through dirty routes together with us.
due to the rain, there were muds all over.
but we didn't bother and we still ran across grass patches.
causing our shoes to be muddy and smelly.
sorry guys. haha
nevertheless, i had learnt alot throughout the whole race.
- learnt to FOLD STARS !
i seriously had no idea at all on how to go about folding stars using straws.
my team mates expected me to know how to because i'm a girl !
why is it so ?
i thought it was more of a guy's job to do that ?
so i just replied, 'i only know how to receive but i don't know how to fold' !
HAHA =X
- learnt many new places.
places like Montreal Green, Bottle Tree Village, Qian Hu Fish Farm and a few others.
i didn't know singapore had places which didn't look like singapore.
instead it looked very similar to malaysia or some other countries.
- learnt how to catch fish !
never went to fish catching before neither have i ever went fishing before.
had a hard time just trying to catch that 1 pathetic fish.
and thanks to miss wendy chua, my unglam-ness was being captured on video !

sadly, there's no more AR for me anymore.
if there's an AR6, maybe e2 can consider having an alumni team ?

of course, these were just the good things which happened.
a few unfortunate things happened also.
actually there were just 2 MAJOR incidents.
one major and SUPER HEARTBREAKING incident was the dropping of my nitendo ds !
somehow as i ran, the zip of my bag slowly opened.
the next thing i knew was hearing a loud 'PIANG' sound.
and i turned my head behind just to see my nitendo ds lying on the floor !
^&%(@#)*%&!$^
my heart seriously broke into thousands of pieces.
even though it was my present, but i would still feel the ache in me even if it just had the slightest scratch on it.
thank god, its working perfectly fine !
the next unfortuante incident was the spraining of my neck.
i shan't elaborate on how it happened.
the impact of that fall caused my neck to hurt and be stiff even until now.
but its only when i'm lying on bed then it'll hurt.
if its during normal times, its still not too bad.
i just have to make sure that i don't do big actions.
but somehow it seems to be causing my right hand to feel weak and numb.
well, hopefully it'll be alright soon ! =)
^ p.s : if you're reading this, please don't feel guilty over this incident alright ? it wasn't your fault. like i said, you just have to pay for my medical fees thats all. haha. smiless :)

wheee ~ !caught 2 wonderful movies this week. and coincidentally both are love stories.
P.S I LOVE YOU and THE LEAP YEARS !
both movies are just as sweet and touching !
friday was the first time i went clubbing ! =X
how memorable.
my first clubbing experience on leap day.
wanted to go to Puhutre at first, but we arrived late and there weren't any tickets left.
therefore headed to MOS instead.
well, really grateful to the guys who went that night.
they really protected bamboo and me well enough.
so much so that mr yue said that he didn't really had much feel because he had to 'look after' us.
guilty but yet thankful towards them.
its so rare that you see them being so gentleman ! haha
anyway, had great fun that night.
